OUR TEAM
United States Coast Guard licensed Captain Terry and wife, Vanessa, have been partners in life and on the water for 40 years, starting their boating adventures in a 17 foot ski boat back in 1979 on lakes, rivers and oceans all over the country. They’ve enjoyed every minute of it and want to share their love of Lake Michigan with others, aboard their fully licensed and inspected, 46′ Maxum SCB, “Great Laker.”

So fun! We had a perfect day at Monroe Harbor. My friends and I had a great time. Terry and Vanessa were wonderful hosts. Will do this again next time we’re in town!
I took my family out for a day of swimming and sightseeing. Chicago is quite beautiful from the water. Luckily the weather was good. Being from the area I know how unpredictable Lake Michigan can be so I feel lucky that we were able to get a good Chicago hot summer day with good Lake conditions and clear skies.
What an amazing time with Terry and Vanessa on the Great Laker!! Not a better place to watch the Chicago Air and Water Show! Better than Xmas morning!! Great boat, great views….and the Best Captain and First Mate you could ever have. We will definitely see you again soon. Thanks for an awesome day on the lake!!
Amazing experience! Terry and Venessa were incredible went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and every need meet. This is definitely a must do Highly recommend them and there beautiful boat.

This is the second time we have booked a charter with Terry and Vanessa, and it has been amazing every time. They are extremely accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. The boat is amazing and they have everything you need to enjoy time in the water.
